Sunday, December 3, 2017 – Worship

Join us at 10:15 a.m. for worship for the first Sunday of Advent. Advent is a special time of recognizing the birth of the baby Jesus!

First Sunday of Advent

Communion

This Sunday marks the first Sunday of Advent and the first Sunday of the new church year. We will enjoy our traditional Advent craft fair/workshop during the 9:00 a.m. Education Hour. However, the children will start in their age-graded classes with a short exercise on the anticipation of Christmas. Not so much the parties and gift-giving, but the anticipation of the Prince of Peace, born on that day. Advent is a season of hope and anticipation in which we prepare to welcome Jesus, remembering him as a baby and looking forward to what his life and death means in the world today. You are invited to join us in the fellowship hall around 9:25 a.m. to make a craft and be in fellowship with other Central members as we celebrate hope on this first day of Advent.

Join us for worship and fellowship!
